Beautiful peaceful cottage....hot tub and fire pit where a bonus.Clean tidy comfy bed.Instructions where clear and nothing was to much trouble.... question's where answered very quickly.....Hill was very steep but that was definitely the only negative....all in all a fab stay when definitely return 🙂

We had a really lovely stay here! It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet & private! The place was so cozy and we wished we had booked more nights!

My partner and I stayed from Monday - Friday, we found the Airbnb easily thanks to Peter's clear instructions and were able to enter with no issues. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful, so relaxing, and we went down some local footpaths which were absolutely stunning! The area was lovely, plenty of places to eat and lots to do. We had a fire multiple nights in a row which was lovely and kept us warm in the cold evenings and I'm personally fond of an egg chair. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back given half the chance!

We had a lovely stay in Wales. The property is in a great area with plenty nearby and had pretty much everything we needed for cooking, with some nice little extras such as tea bags and sugar provided.The hot tub was a lovely addition and we got plenty of use out of it during our stay. Communication was also very good, and the hosts were quick to respond when we got in touch shortly before check-in.The only thing we noticed was that the towel rail didn't seem to get particularly warm, and the heater in the living room/kitchen area didn't make the room feel especially warm either, so it could feel a little chilly at times. The fire made a big difference and warmed the space up nicely. Perhaps having a fleece blanket or two available in the living area would be a nice addition for anyone who feels the cold.Overall, we had a really enjoyable time and would happily recommend the property and the area.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful location. The area was perfect for us as it was so peaceful, but also close enough to the main hikes we wanted to go on. The cabin was exactly how it was described and shown in the photos. Highly reccomend.

This cottage was a lovely place to stay for the weekend, very relaxing and cosy! It is equipped with everything you could need, making it so you don’t need to leave if you don’t want to! It’s private with nothing around you, so nice and peaceful but down the hill you are back to the main roads so it’s nicely located. There isn’t much directly around but it’s easy to jump in the car to get to places if you can or wanted!

We absolutely loved our stay and really didn't want to leave! Gorgeous surroundings, tucked away on the side of a hill.The space was presented beautifully and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay at the house - it’s nicely secluded but still easily accessible. We went to Tenby, the Brecon Beacons and Carmarthen area - all within a relatively short drive. The house is stylishly furnished and felt very homely. The hot tub is also a lovely addition!

We had a wonderful few days at the cottage. Instructions were clear but I double checked on Google maps to have a better idea of where the place was. Parking is on a steep hill with not many passing places so just something to bear in mind. Overall cottage cleanliness was brilliant. We were supplied with a sponge, rag, tea towels and some extra bits, plus bath and hand towels. Hot tub was great, just be conscious that there is no washing machine so if you need to wash swimwear after the hot tub or beach, then you may need to wash these in the sink. This was nothing that we couldn’t work around as it was sunny and we could dry these outside. We loved our stay, it felt cosy and comfortable and we would definitely look at returning or looking at the other properties from these hosts!

We loved our stay at Beili Glas Cottage. It was the perfect, private get away with all the facilities we could want. Peter was a polite and helpful host, and there were plenty of leaflets and maps for local walks, activities and food. Can't wait to visit again in the future.

We had a wonderful ‘mini-honeymoon’ in this property with our dog. The property is absolutely stunning and incredibly cosy & private. The property was immaculate and well maintained. Close to local footpaths & plenty of information about local attractions was provided within the property. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Peter’s place. The place itself was lovely. Has everything you need for a home away from home. Only thing we would say about the inside is the sofas were slightly uncomfortable to chill on in the evenings and the front door was extremely stiff. You had to be quite aggressive with it to get it to close and lock. The hot tub was amazing with plenty of privacy. The surroundings of the air b&b was beautiful with plenty of walking to do and places to see. Great communication from Peter from the start. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Peter and Lydia were great hosts - friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. My dog had a couple of accidents. They handled it without any fuss, which I really appreciated. The property is perfectly located for enjoying both beach walks and hikes in the Brecon area. By the end of the stay, it felt like a home away from home.

Wow, what a great stay! We were so impressed with this Airbnb and the hosts. The parking and property is easy to find if you follow the host’s clear instructions. The check in was simple and the property was very clean and filled with everything we needed for our long weekend. Information about places to go, walks to go on, local attractions and restaurants to go to was provided as well as information about the property. We used the hot tub every night and it was very private and quiet. There were plenty of local walks to go on and the area had plenty of shops. The host was easy to get a hold of and kept in contact with us. Overall this is the perfect stay for a couple looking for a private and picturesque stay. Thank you!

Peters place was the perfect cottage to get away. While remaining close to town, we still felt like we were away in the woods. Peter’s above and beyond tips for things to do in the area made it the best weekend away.

We had a great short stay in Peter’s cottage. It’s perfectly placed for exploring Gower and the Brecons. Also a good choice of pubs in walking distance.

Very cosy cottage that warms up well with the log burner in the winter. The bedroom is very cold, BUT the duvet is extremely good quality so we didn’t notice once asleep.

It could have been a bit cleaner to be honest, but maybe my standards are too high.

A good place to stay for walks, pub visits, and chilled evenings playing games.

We had a lovely time exploring both the beaches and the waterfalls in the area. The house was a great central point surrounded by woodland which made it feel very private and peaceful. I would recommended staying here - great value too!

Great little place, a private space surrounded by greenery. There are some nice walks in walking distance from the cottage, and plenty more a short drive away. The patio is a lovely place to chill out with some food and drink, and the cottage has everything you need to relax inside if the weather turns. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions, and we had a great time.

We loved this place. It had (almost) everything we needed. The location was exceptional and it was warm and light and modern and also historic. Lovely outside area. A host that was available when I made a mistake and needed help. The kids loved it & I loved it. Amazing walks on the doorstep and a great surrounding area. Tesco up the road for big supplies too and not far to Swansea which was great when we needed a pharmacy on a Sunday!
Things to note: no blinds in the second sleeping area, hard to unload and load car if you are the only adult and have two weeks of luggage and food - do not try driving closer as it is inaccessible. The parking is EXTREMELY close - just hard in my case. For most you won’t think twice. I would re visit again and again if I lived in the UK. Thank you so much!!

Lovely spacious and homely cottage in picturesque surroundings. Short drive to Swansea if required…
Unfortunately the typical British summertime including Storm Lillian hampered our opportunities to explore the nearby countryside, and to make use of the cottage’s el fresco facilities, however, we were very cosy inside and can certainly recommend sampling Welsh fish and chips!

We had a great stay, everything was as described with lots of helpful information on places to visit.
Peter was a perfect host, responsive and helpful when needed.
The cabin was exactly as described, clean and warm with everything we needed.
I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

Nice and peaceful location, in the lovely area in South Wales. Cute little cottage with basic amenities. Pontardowe town is a 5 min drive down the road with lots of little shops and cafes. I got a bit lost with the Parking, "approximately 150 meters up the hill" was a bit vague - perhaps a google maps link would make things easier!? Also I couldn't find instructions for the stove, although in the end google was able to help!! Thank you for the great stay!

Great stay for our visit to Wales, we had a small child and even though it was hilly, nearly everything was accessible and the surroundings were beautiful, definitely worth it. The space is private and located in the woods, the host was very responsive and helped us out of a jam within 5 minutes.

Das kleine Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass das Haus durch die vielen Fenster recht hell ist und das Schlafzimmer großzügig wirkt.
Wir fanden nur die Lage nicht ganz optimal, aber das war unsere Entscheidung. Vom Haus aus sind kleine Spaziergänge möglich. Für größere, interessante Wanderungen muss man immer fahren! Und auch der Weg in den Ort ( Geschäfte/ Pubs) ist mit 20 Minuten schon etwas lang.

It was a lovely location and a great spot if you want a secluded and private place but still want to be close enough to shops and others places you might need, it was very nicely decorated and had all the amenities you would need, nice selection of places to go and activities in the area. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would go back again!

Great location for the ‘outdoor’ Wales experience. Very easy to get to, and very secluded when you get there. If you want a quiet break away, this is your place.

A great home for the week within driving distance to all of South Wales beauty spots. Peter very kindly got the place ready for us to check in slightly earlier which was a great help. The place had everything we needed, and when we encountered a slight issue with the toaster, Peter had it resolved within the hour. We would definitely stay here again when we return for future visits to South Wales.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable. The environment was so serene with breathtaking views. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great weekend break at Beili Glas. The cottage had everything we needed with plenty of space. It is set up on a hill overlooking the small town so was nice and peaceful. We weren't overlooked so it felt quite secluded. There are trails right from the doorstep and the surrounding area has a lot of beautiful places to visit one being the four falls trail. Close to Swansea where we enjoyed a day at the beach. The town has a range of independent shops and we had some lovely fish and chips from the Pontardawe Fish Bar. Peter was a good host and swiftly responsive when contacted. Overall a fantastic stay and would definitely stay at the cottage again.

Such a lovely place to stay. Amazing views from the windows! Had everything we needed. Loved the log fire and it was nice we could buy logs straight from the owners. Very nice and quiet, had big waterfall straight right across the road. Lots of public walkways. Village in the walking distance, has shops and takeaways and coffee shops. Also found nice pub with the roaring fire. Amazing!

The cabin itself is lovely and as described. Not a complaint, however people should realise that it is not in the middle of a wood, as per one of the pictures. It's just off a lane. Perfectly quiet and it was the winter so no leaves on the trees which would have made it perfect once inside.
Of note, the wifi is not on site, but boosted from the main house next door. It did not work for us and we had to hotspot our own data. Peter tried to sort the issue and it was probably out of his hands. But those needing strong wifi, maybe writers etc, need to know they wont be able to rely on the wifi.
All in all we had a lovely stay and it is well worth the price. Hosts were responsive and friendly. The waterfalls were beautiful and only a short drive away.

Peter's cottage is situated in woodland with a tiny stream trickling by. Secluded and totally private. Before we arrived, we had really clear instructions on how to get there. The parking space is very close to the little path down to the house, all well signed. Peter goes the extra mile to show you where the local walks and attractions are: he is a fantastic advocate for South Wales and his website is full of recommendations.
The wood burner is a very welcome feature in the living room. I'm a bit of a wimpy urbanite and I felt the cold on arrival. Things warm up with a good fire and - in spite of the truly atrocious weather - we enjoyed some great evenings and dried out our very wet clothing from the walks we'd taken.
Pontardawe is a nice town with a lot to offer (including a ton of hairdressing salons!) and we took refuge from the rain in a super-friendly cafe called Frostys.

Lovely location set up on steep hillside hence you get amazing views & a wonderful feeling of remoteness even though you’re nice & close to the village & subsequent road networks. Real log wood burner heated the living space quickly & invitingly & felt great to be around! Good location to multiple activities/places to visit (amazing caves/beach/castles) will return!

We had a lovely stay at Peter’s place. It was a nice little place with all the amenities mentioned in the description. It’s a little far from the coast and all the great beaches but we knew that before booking so I would recommend having a car. Will definitely be staying here again!

Very nice rural cottage, clean and tidy upon arrival, lovely wet room with underfloor heating, very quiet for a good night sleep, log burner on for a nice cwtch in the evening, a few little things I would add if it was mine is a microwave food cover, first aid kit, scissors, and not very good for elderly people as the car park is 200 meters away and very hilly, tried to drive our car up to the cottage to offload our clothes and food ect but unfortunately our car would not go up as it is wet and very steep. had to carry all our things up and down to cottage.

Beautiful area and surroundings and lots of information provided about local activities

beili glas cottage was a lovely comfortable place to stay. weather was very wet so although we went to see henrydd waterfalls we were a bit limited with what else we could do. We made great use of the board games and also all the things offered on the TV. Cottage was spotless on arrival. would be a problem if you had mobility issues as cottage was on a very steep road. We had a really relaxed weekend and attempted the beautiful walks around the cottage (although the weather had other ideas!!!). lovely weekend, would definitely recommend as a relaxing getaway. A fabulous stay in a quiet and private location. We loved every minute and we are definitely fitter as we did lots of walking, a lot of it up steep hills! Would highly recommend.

The cottage was beautiful and was in a ideal place to do all the local attractions. The local town is just a short walk away the the people were very welcoming. We eat out twice and the restaurant's were good . I would very much recommend this cottage we couldn't fault it at all

Great accommodation for nature lovers, clean and cosy. Good location, about 30 mins to the beach, mountains, caves, waterfalls etc.

we had a great stay arthe Cortage! Everything was clean and organised and we loved the whole place.

Peter was very helpful and responsive when we needed and the whole service was very good.

The cottage is located in a very peaceful and quite area and there's a lot of nice things to do on a 10 to 15 mile radius. Nice beaches, waterfalls, restaurants, etc.

Lovely stay in a hidden getaway 😀 - The whole cabin was excellent, great layout, lovely bedroom and hot shower. Welcome biscuits, tea and coffee provided. Really enjoyed the outlook from the bedroom in the mornings. We were able to walk into town quite easily without using our car. There were some lovely touches in the cabin. 😞 - Was quite chilly, definitely worth using the log burner if you can. There's a radiator in the lounge and bedroom but if it's chilly it doesn't really warm up very well. There's a steep walk to the cabin (we left our car in the car park above the cabin for most of our stay) so walked up and down the hill when we were there. Fine for us but you do need to be able to cope with a steep hill.

A lovely 3 day stay in a private cottage with great views. The bedroom, opening out onto the patio, was a highlight. A cracking wood burning stove kept us warm and cosy, plenty of wood available. The immediate area was not particularly appealing, but so close to Breacon beacons and coast that we did day trips out.

we had An amazing stay not far away from beaches shopping centres there was always something to do. 😀 - it was lovely and clean really felt like your own home. we really liked the map that helped figure out what to do and where to go 😞 - the location access isn’t easy being on a steep hill.

Just arrived home from this beautiful hidden cottage not only did it meet our expectations it completely blew them away.. The pictures just don't do it justice the only fault I had with beautiful place was for me and the hubby 3 nights wasent no where near long enough and went in the blink of an eye.. Absolute perfection
