The location was near some nice pubs, walks, shops. it wasn’t a lodge - rather a house in a small close. we had 6 adults and there was enough room in general, though the kitchen struggles to fit 6. wi-fi was okay, a bit slow. Unfortunately the smart TV wouldn’t connect or stay connected to the internet. The host was quick to respond but we couldn’t fix the issue. log fire was lovely, was great to have bags of wood available there, however some of the wood provided in these weren’t actually suitable for burning as they had varnish and wood glue which was disappointing especially for a place that is eco conscious. After I messaged about a question the price went up by £34 pounds a night (might be Airbnb). There was a helpful welcome package which was appreciated. The owner arrived before check out which was a bit disconcerting, would’ve been nicer if they had arrived after, though they were friendly. Check in was good. read less

The neighbourhood was really beautiful and the flat was super clean and comfortable. Had a wonderful stay and would certainly stay again

The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great and there was plenty of space for us as a family of 5. Peter was also available to answer any questions we had. read less

We loved the privacy of the place and the egg chair in the garden 😁 it was so relaxing. Peter is a great host and the communication and check-in details were very helpful. We especially appreciated the information on lots of different places to visit/eat etc its in a great location. We did the four waterfalls walk, which we loved and did lots of hiking and mountain biking. It was the perfect place in the perfect location. We would definitely stay again and are also looking forward to staying in his orher properties. read less

The house is well-maintained, decorated to a high standard and it is obvious that a lot of care and thought went into the home as there is everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Outdoor table and chairs both front and back so one can choose where to sit outside. Fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. (Handy having one downstairs). Even a clothes horse/maiden for drying off our wet waterproofs after our only wet day!

The house is in an excellent location for the waterfalls and other tourist attractions.

Special shout out to the cleaners. The house was absolutely spotless!

We will highly recommend, and hope to stay with you again! read less

Refurbished for high standard. Great view from bedroom. You really dont need anything else. You even doesn't want to leave the house. Highly recommended for couples to switch off from the reality.
