Mystic Falls Food

Stumbled upon this little gem, welcomed so nicely big smiles from the owners ,wanted a Pepsi Max they didn’t have any so the owner got on the phone to “Josh” who couldn’t find his keys but you best believe we had a Pepsi Max with our meal which was Delicious burger and chips. Felt well looked after. The options were amazing and gutted I didn’t get an ice cream quite frankly.

Their lovely little seating is perfect after seeing the waterfall and walking up that BIG hill.

Would definitely recommend. 10/10

Food was great, except for the burgers being a bit blackened and hard in some places, but it still tasted great.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The seating area could use a bit of work, as it's just a tent with some picnic benches.

Lovely guys who own the cafe and camp site. I would definitely stop at the site next time.

Such an amazing getaway, was a very last minute decision to come here but myself and my partner were so glad we found it, will 100% be returning!

Good place to chill out. Friendly and helpful owners. No facilities but worth a tenner a night.

Sadly the opening hours are wrong. We went on a Friday lunchtime and they were not open.

Just what you need after visiting the beautiful waterfalls.
Food was amazing, fresh, tasty & I’d definitely recommend.
Myself & my partner had burger & chips, but the burger wasn’t your regular old burgers, these tasted phenomenal.
Thank you to the young lady’s that served us, they were friendly, welcoming & happy to assist

Absolutely love this place. We found this campsite last year and what a jem it is. Right on the waterfall. Food is incredible family run business and what a lovely family they are. Made us feel so welcome and the price was so cheap. We came back this year not to see the water fall this time just to return to the cafe and to see the people running it. I would recommend everyone to go there not just for the water fall for the food and camping (view was magnificent) 10/10 i would give mystic falls. Cant wait to return for a 3rd visit.

We had parked at the National Trust car park to see the waterfalls, and on the way to the footpath we noticed the burger van with a sign saying they were also offering wild camping.
We spoke to the owners who were so friendly, kind, and informative. After our walk, we decided to come back and wild camp in their field.
It’s one of the best wild camping experiences I have ever had!

The field had absolutely stunning views, with the sun setting behind the mountains.
We were so lucky to have the place to ourselves, which made it feel even more special. There are no facilities, but that was not a problem as we enjoy wild camping!

I could not recommend this place enough! I will definitely be back one day.
The owners are so lovely and could not do enough for us! So welcoming and friendly, we are so grateful for their hospitality.

Overall, a 5/5 stay with some great food at a very reasonable price too! 😊

A really nice burger bar in an unexpected place. The waterfall is free, as is the carpark. When we arrived, we could smell cooking onions! We spotted the Mystic Falls food place and couldn't believe our luck. The walk to the falls and back was great, and we all worked up an apatite. Food all round! Generous portions and good prices too. The staff are chatty and approachable.

Amazing wild camping experience. Breathtaking views, friendly staff, in a superb location. Sloping field so campervans need ramps, no facilities at all so need to be self sufficient. Fire pits and wood for hire, we will be back.

Food good. Could clean place up a bit. But a nice chilled watering and feeding hole.

Super friendly staff with a wide-ranging menu and a big seating area. Definitely plan to stop after you climb back up the hill from the falls!

This campsite is very reasonable and the best thing is it's private, they provided us with a fire pit to have a camp fire, Food is also very good 🙂

We were absolutely delighted to find Mystic Falls! We had a lovely walk from Abercraf to the falls and walked back up feeling in need of sustenance! Imagine how pleased we were to find Mystic Falls open! The bacon and cheese burger was delicious, made using locally sourced meat and the chips were very good too! The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful and great to chat to. Definitely give them a try! You won’t regret it!

Fantastic burgers, beautiful views and kind people

Well I've been Wild camping and enjoyed before but this time I gave this place a try and it ticked all the boxes from good food polite staff and lots Adventures I just had to setup camp As I finish my tent I'm thinking about making a 🔥 and boom there was one waiting for me when I grabbed my munch two days two nights and home wait to go back

Beautiful spot for a bit more off the grid camping! Me and my boyfriend came here wanting something more secluded, alike wild camping and it was perfect ! Lovely place with great views of the sunset and lovely people too. Provided with a fire pit and logs. Would definitely recommend.

A fabulous place, would highly recommend.
We were immediately made welcome, despite heavy rain, and were recommended lovely walks in both directions along the river. Camping for £10 for a night was great value, and we much appreciated the burger van.
We couldn't stay to see the views or the animal farm, but would be very happy to return.

Order a portion of chips that took over 30mins, granted there were other orders ahead but we weren't told it would take that long and when we checked in were told it would be sooner than it turned up again. Just wish we were told at the start and then we wouldn't have ordered. Menu was good and staff friendly.

Myself and my partner stayed for one night here and it is honestly the best place we’ve stayed with the best value.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, some of the most welcoming people we’ve met! They even invited us to join their family campfire on the evening.

The animals are all super lovely and one of the daughters let us walk the goats, the owners let us feed the horses, brush the pigs, get in with the Pygmy goats. It was amazing.

Views are stunning, people are lovely, great location, food from the burger van is delicious (big cheesy chips portion). Very relaxing nights stay. We can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely fantastic place, the best of off grid camping can offer.

The fields / site is maintained perfectly, well sized pitches that are clearly marked with mown grass and views to die for.

The owners daughter escorted us to our pitch (which I thought was very professional, she was extremely pleasant and polite and a credit to her parents) and gave us the choice of where to pitch

Me and my lad had the whole field to ourselves which was fantastic as my young lad wanted to photograph the Milky Way and did mean being up until around 2am so being on our own made this possible.

The owners couldn’t be nicer and genuinely lovely people, they were very busy when we stayed but made sure to take the time to see we were happy and settled.

The owner even popped down to us after about half hour to see if we needed anything and we were happy with the pitch.

Lovely family, lovely place, great prices, unbelievable views a perfect end to an our trip to Wales.

Fantastic hosts who couldn’t do enough. The campsite is located in a great location and having the food van on site made it easier to purchase food / drinks when needed. Opening hours were good! Those on the rescue farm were amazing, and very welcoming to our large group. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.

We stayed here for 1 night on the off chance looking for parking for the falls, absolutely brilliant spot! Owners are super friendly and welcoming!

Food at the burger shack is great and Henrhyd Falls is literally a 5/10min walk from the site.

A number of friendly farm animals on site to which the owners are happy for you to pet and play with!

And just to top it off, beautiful views and all for a tenner!

Will 100% be staying again!

Absolutely amazing service from staff, couldn’t do enough for us. Site was brilliant, so lovely meeting the rescued animals. Definitely recommend. Close to the falls and various Brecon beacon walking routes. More than reasonable on price. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Picturesque location with Henrhyd falls a short walk from site, Jacqui, Kenny and the team were brilliant and attentive for our short camping trip, great food and great views, will definitely be making a return!

Great wee place to camp, tenner a night for a beautiful pitch overlooking the wildflowers, hills and forest. 15 mins to the waterfalls for a dip, and delicious burgers to round off the evening! Thank you!

What an amazing place absolutely stunning 😍 past this place a couple times walking our dog down the falls...jaqui and Kenny are amazing we didn't get here until 10.30pm and they were still really helpful showing us the fields we could stay in ended up with a field completely to our self for the night absolutely loved it and haven't been made to rush of this morning by a certain time..Keith our dog is dreading the walk to the falls as he hasn't stopped chasing his ball all morning he also approves 😀 we will definitely be coming back very soon to bring the kids I can't wait and at £10 a night they are definitely under selling themselves 🥰👌⛺️🏕

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Jacqui and Kenny were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The firepit on the campsite was a definite highlight of our stay. During the cool and windy nights, the firepit works wonders in keeping us warm.

We're very lucky to meet newborn bunnies with just 1.5 weeks old! they're so adorable, our kids love them so much! There are also donkeys, pigs, sheep, and goats on the farm. The host family kindly allows our kids to feed them.

The National Showcaves Centre for Wales, which includes a dinosaur park, is only a 15-minute drive. Henrhyd Falls, the largest waterfall in South Wales, is just a 15-minute walk from the site.

We want to thank Jacqui and Kenny once again to make our trip so perfect!

We had a fantastic time camping here with the children this weekend. Nice to find somewhere like this. A beautiful place, and lovely welcoming hosts. The children loved seeing the animals there too, and the hosts were fab introducing them to the different animals and giving them food to feed them. Thank you all. We will be back soon. We didn't want to leave. If we didn't have work tomorrow we would have stayed longer.
