Het was alsof we in een andere, magische wereld terechtkwamen🤩 (totdat jongeren met een boombox met harde muziek en blikken bier kwamen, vrij bizar op deze locatie)read moreread less
- Kylie Oconnell 5/17/2025Absolutely lovely walk to do, breathtaking waterfalls to see from start to finish. Will definitely be going again. My daughter is 8, and she loved the walk. There are toilets just before you started your walk, lovely like cafe and pub to get some food after. Parking is on the side of the road, I would get there early just to try and park.read moreread less
- Adam Barnard 8/21/2024Wonderful little place with plenty of walks. There is a main board with all the walks on, length of time to come, difficulty, and how busy they normally are. There is plenty of free parking along the main road. We really enjoyed this and the area is kept nice and clean.read moreread less
- Matthew Thomas 8/18/2024Fantastic have been visiting this for 40 years, it's the most beautiful of places and well worth a visit. I personally would recommend a week day to avoid the crowds. And please take your rubbish home. Parking: If head for the farm Field parking on the weekend is best. During the week angel pub on road parking is fine Dog-friendliness: Keep them on the lead some of the drops are very high. And just pick up the waste. Otherwise greatread moreread lessKayleigh Price 8/15/2024This place is beautiful and so refreshing. The trial took about 4 hours in total, and we stopped off at each waterfall. The waterfalls were beautiful, and it was so tranquil. The steps going down to some of the waterfalls are a bit steep, so I would recommend a good pair of shoes or hiking boots as it can be a bit slippy and muddy. The car park was good and had toilets. This is a perfect day out for families, and it is dog friendly. You can go swimming in the water too. I would highly recommend.read moreread less
- Guy Tsur 8/15/2024I think that the nature in this area is outstanding, but hikers should beware of the misleading signage and instructions in the park. The "4 Waterfalls Trail" does not go through the 4 waterfalls, it brings you close to them so you can hike different roads to them. Overall you end up walking twice the mileage, so be advised.read moreread less
- Letizia Protopapa 8/08/2024Beautiful place. My partner and I didn't do the whole trail, we only got to the first waterfall and got back. Even this way, it took us a good couple of hours (we don't go hiking often). My main advice is to wear proper shoes and pay extra attention to areas that are wet/muddy as it can be very slippery. Restrooms: There was a public toilet outside at the start of the trail, but it was quite dirty and smelly.read moreread less
- Paul 7/22/2024There are no opening times, this is not the four falls walk, you can join the two together as this is just below the four falls, you would need a good map though, loved this place took the purple path which was a longish walk along side the river in woods, wear boots as muddy in places, some steep drops but nothing really bad due to a good path, couple of plunge pools also if thats your thing, Parking: Free roadside parking, can get busy Dog-friendliness: Great for our dog,no sheep so 4hours of free running and sniffingread moreread less
- Nidhin Xavier 7/22/2024So far my experience with hiking with both baby and toddler has been enjoyable, but you need a lot of time and patience. It takes longer to pack, to leave the house and to leave the car but it's so worth it. Get a back pack style so you can pack the kid on your back. Much easier to walk and maintain balance. We used one for our youngest and worked great; I even climbed ladders at Mesa Verde with her on my back with no issue. Fees: It's free but there is a parking change. - Us BOB 4/16/2024Beautiful walks and so popular now. Recommend using the Park and Ride on summer weekends from Glynneath to limit the environmental damage that so many visitors is causing. EDIT. The park and ride no longer runs. People prefered to drive to be as close as possible to the place where they are going to have a walk. Restrooms: There's one public toilet in the village.read moreread lessLuke Howse 3/30/2024One of my most favourite and beautiful places I've been to in the world. There's a large loop you can do that takes in a couple of valleys and their waterfalls. Parking: There's a couple of spots at the start. Then there's more on street parking nearby. Don't park in the pub car parks unless you intend to use them Restrooms: There's a public toilet at pontneddfechan Dog-friendliness: Dogs would absolutely love this walk if they love jumping in and out of water.read moreread less
- Heidi May 2/29/2024Absolutely amazing walk around these gorgeous waterfalls. You can even walk behind the main waterfall, although it's quite a steep decent down to it. Also be careful crossing behind the waterfall as it can get busy and is slippy so tread carefully. But its well worth it. You definitely need a good pair of walking shoes with grip as it's not all level walking trails. There's toilets by most of the car parks but nothing during your walk. I would recommend for anyone, and for those adventurous little ones who enjoy being outdoors.read moreread less
- Alison Chivers 1/30/2024We had intended to do the shorter route but carried on until the end. We crossed the wooden bridge on the way back to look in the mine, too dark and wet to see how far it went, and carried on on that side of the river. This side was a bit boggy, and there weren't any gravel paths, but we still enjoyed it. Plus, it was a bit quieter than the main route. As we didn't need to use them, we weren't too worried that the public toilets weren't open, perhaps it's a seasonal thing? We enjoyed our New years Day walk, and we could see a whole age range of people doing just the same 👍 Parking: Lots of on street parking, but I'd advise getting there early Restrooms: Unfortunately the public toilets weren't open when we visited. Dog-friendliness: Our dog loved his walk, and the paths are wide enough to pass other people and their dogsread moreread less
- Sallyann Lodge 10/30/2023I never knew how beautiful Wales is it's a hidden gem. You could get lost for hours/days even months it's that huge! Everything around you, you are just gasped with amazement. From the river, many many waterfalls with caves underneath them. It's amazing how my much half of Wales has been untouched and yet to be discovered. - Weekend Wildness 10/30/2023A lovely walk from Pontneddfechan, up to Lady falls waterfall. Its about a 20 minute walk for most. It's a great place to bring the family as the walk will tire the kids, the rivers offer some swimming and jumping opportunities for everyone, and the views along the river lead up to the spectacular waterfall that is Lady falls. Parking: An absolute pain. Dog-friendliness: Dogs under control are welcome. Owners who don't take their poo bags with them are banned.read moreread less
- Dale Cook 10/30/2023What a really nice walk with plenty to see along the way. This is the Elidir trail which is different to the Four Waterfalls Walk. Even though the waterfalls on the Four Waterfalls walk are supposed to be more impressive, there is a lot of walking up and down to see them. On this walk you don’t need to come off the path or up and down steps to see them. I would advise on good footwear as the paths are very muddy. This walk can be done on a circular route but it can also be done as a point to point and just double back which a few people do if they park the car near the Angel pub. Parking: There are about 4 or 5 free parking spots at the start of the walk, otherwise you can park on the side of the road which is also free. I’ve had no problem parking first thing in the morning but this does get busy during the summer period and weekends.read moreread less

- Jessibeth15 7/08/2022Absolutely gorgeous setting. Lots of acess to different points of the water all g the walk, which the kids enjoyed paddling in. We found a little cave the the kids where fascinated by also. There was some public toilets at the start of the walk, next to a sign that gives you information on the different walks you can do. There is no official car park, you park at the side of the road where there is space. 2 places to eat/grab food from at the entrance also, we didn't eat at any of them, but got a drink from one and the food smelt amazing.read moreread less
- Michael Waim 6/24/2022A nice walk, we still saw a bit of a waterfall at the end, however we hadn't had much rain in the past few weeks before we arrived, so it wasn't it's full size fall.
