Stay Here? – cottages available
Situated in the village of Ponteddfechan, near the entrance to the Elidir waterfall trail in the Brecon Beacons national park, the Old White Horse is a popular venue for walkers. The pub and restaurant, built around 1600, served as a coaching house before reverting to a pub and restaurant in the early 1960s. It has a cosy public bar, with a huge log fire, lounge/restaurant and outdoor seating deck. Up to three ales are stocked in winter and up to five plus a cider in summer.
