- Paul Archer 01/09/24Needed a quick dinner on way home from a weekend away with a very tired and hungry toddler. With a long drive still ahead. We had another place lined up but this looked nice so we popped in to ask about wait times. We were told there'd be no wait and food would come pretty much straight out. An hour and 10 minutes later, after giving them multiple reminders (and lots of toddler entertainment) and repeatedly being told it'd be 10-15 mins, our food showed up. To a child now too tired to eat. We did not receive the quick service we were promised. No compensation was offered so I asked for some. They offered just 10%. After pushing they said they'd also omit the child's meal which wasn't being eaten. But still rubbish. And everyone seemed to be pushing everything onto the same poor stressed waiter. With the manager hiding away. I'm sure they provide a good experience most of the time. But our experience deserves no more than 1 star. Kid-friendliness: Don't count on them to get a simple kids meal in any reasonable timeframe!read moreread less
- Claire Williams 19/08/24Food here looked amazing fresh cooked chips lovely size portions. We just had a Ciabatta which was 1 of the best I have had, a little pricey but when you see the filling and quality of it it's worth every penny. Definitely will return here probably for out next family meal. Well worth a visit and a free car park too. Parking: Loads of people park on road for other activities but the Angel has its own car park for clientele.read moreread less
- Gareth Price 12/08/24Located at the start of the waterfall trail, the Angel Inn was the perfect place for a pint in the sun. After a long walk and swimming on the trail, I was impressed with the selection of drinks available. We had the dog and sat outside, and there were treats and even a dog menu, which I was impressed with. We didn't have any food, but the roast dinners that were coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. I'll definitely be back again on another Sunday to have one.read moreread less
- p somaraja 12/08/24Very friendly and welcoming staff. We felt like visiting our family. Great ambience. Live music was going on and it was seducting the place. Singer was a male around 50ish. He was singing flowlessly. It's a good spot to stop over for a meal or drink after we burnt all our energy on hiking.read moreread less
