Great views!Andy had a very playful journey planned for us and had a great deal of knowledge to share.read moreread less
- ballota 21/08/24You can't stop doing it Very organized the times of the excursion and with good and interesting information from Wales. The hike is really worth it just to say that it carries risk of falling on land or over the cliff if you are not wearing good footwear or are not attentive. The rest is very easy with just climbs. There is also the possibility of sometimes eating in a bar in the middle of the road if it is open. Finally Andy is very good driver of both his truck and group dynamicsread moreread less
- Vicky N 11/08/24Excellent day Took part in the 6 waterfall/ 10mile walk at Brecon Becon with Andy lamb, this was an external experience even for me(I'm not fit) I felt supported and would highly recommend taking part, and if you have and doubts to contact Andy as he has a good knowledgeable and understanding of the environment. Easy to bookvia get your guide, clear instructions in meeting point and parting. The Caffè at the meeting point offers a lovely breakfast and lovely coffee, and the mid point pop up has excellent delicious food and amazing cake (both card payment) tiny shop on route (cash only). We would return.read moreread less
- Alison P 07/07/24Excellent day Brilliant tour, Andy was very informative, friendly and the tour was paced very well. I really enjoyed Tintern Abbey which Andy explained was at the heart of british tourism and the romantic movement. Would definitely book another tour again. Castell Coch is an absolute gem.read moreread lessThomas S 28/06/24Great hiking experience for all abilities, must do for visiting the Brecon Beacons Excellent guided hike through the historic southern entrance to the Brecon Beacons. Guides Andy and Kate have created a very nice route, bringing hikers to six waterfalls, several scenic vistas, working farmland, ruins, and more. Andy has a comprehensive knowledge of the intertwined history and geography of the area, sharing it along the way along with some good humor. Andy and Kate were very helpful both groups on the tour and ensured that everyone had a great experience. Hikers of all ability levels will benefit from booking this tour.read moreread less
- Gareth 12/04/24Beautiful Wales on Cardiff's doorstep, the opportunity to visit a community and the desire to overcome adversity Great start, with easy to find centrally located pick up point, that allows for a great coffee. Our guide Andy was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable on the area's history, environment and sense of community. The tour was very well paced with all the stops, we consider an absolute must, like the memorial to the Aberfan disaster, the winding beautiful access through and to the top of Brecon, the tasty and interesting Penderyn Distillery, the amazing 'Welsh Coal Mining Experience', stunning Castell Coch and lunch in a typical valley's high street. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting South Wales.read moreread less
- Paul C 23/11/23Autumn walk through waterfall country Great guided walk. Saw six impressive waterfalls. Trails were easy to walk but a bit wet in places. The guide was helpful in navigating from one valley to the next where there were no signs and giving background information on the history of the area, particularly the silicon mines. Falls were running particularly full at this time of yearread moreread less
