I had made a big mistake by booking for the Friday and the staff kindly changed it to the Saturday for me as we were not even in Wales on the Friday. I just got my dates mixed up. The restaurant was clean and inviting and whole place was dog friendly.read moreread lessJenni Williams 31/05/2025Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Lovely welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble. Seamless and organised throughout the whole day. Phoenix zip wire was fantastic, looking forward to doing it again soon. The care and attention taken to ensure your safety is excellent. Customer service and care is second to none. Food in the cafe was fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to everyone as there's lots there for younger kids to do too.read moreread less
- Barry Turnbull 27/05/2025Phoenix was a great experience my son aged 8 loved it. The tower coaster was good, unfortunately at the time very wet! Staff were helpful and instructive. The only problem we had was at the end when I was told I should have had a code for my prepaid video, which I hadn't been given, I then had to queue again. But they sorted it, I just had to wait due to how busy it was.read moreread less
- vicki loxley 25/05/2025Absolutely awesome, especially in atmospheric mist! Fast, exhilarating and makes you feel amazing. Super friendly team of staff with expert care for the whole experience. Pay your parking directly with them in advance if you hate idea of parking apps like me! I'm looking at my next adventure...read moreread less
- Will Adams 20/05/2025Second time going there. This time to do the Phoenix.Great experience and family loved it. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Clearly safety comes first. My only issue is the extra charge for the parking. Also don't get money back for use of lockers.I know it is a couple of quid. But sending a lot already. When I booked the Phoenix I was told that if I booked another activity I would get the parking for free which does not seem right either. So for the hidden charges its a 3 star.read moreread less
- Andy Mason 12/05/2025Great day out . Did both the zip lines . The instructors were very good going through the harness fitting. Then the cars on rails . There was a bit of an intermittent problem with the cars the day we went ,but they were good fun . Just as a heads up , you do have to pay for parking there , so don't forget to log your car in when you get there 👍read moreread less
- Brian Robinson 11/05/2025Because I found the website confusing I booked the wrong zip experience. We travelled all the way from Finland, my son was looking forward to riding the zip line. He is 6ft 4in tall at 15 years old. We waited ages to check in, the staff member didn't say anything about the ride or give any advice on how suitable it might be. We went to the area of the zip line, my son towered above the workers and other kids. After the humiliation of going through the three lines, the final zip he had to walk to the end as he is so tall. When I went in and explained my mistake, and that I would like to pay for the biggest zip line ride, the staff member laughed and told us I would have to pay another £54 and wait for another two hours. After paying £20 for the ride, £5 for booking fee, £3 for parking. There were signs around the place saying 50% off the second go and 20% off your next experience, I was told I would have to pay the full price. So we just left in disgust.read moreread less
- Charmian Heys 30/04/2025We attended the Phoenix Tower Zip line on 21/04 and we had a great time. ALL members of the team were super friendly and very safety orientated - which is what you want when you are high and about to fly through the air.We pre-paid for camera footage and my camera failed so I was allowed to do it again! We had a great timeread moreread less
- Katie Brookes 03/09/2024We found the overall experience was marred by the long waits. You book a time slot but this doesn't indicate the time you'll be on the zip lines. We went on a relatively mild day in August and ended up waiting about an hour at the top of the first zip line where there's no shelter and it was cold and windy- would be extra unpleasant on a cold and wet day. And probably another 20 minute wait for the next zip line. The attitude became - let's just get this over with now. And ruined the excitement of it. On a positive note, all the staff were great and safety was taken very seriously. For the cost, I think they owe their customers a better overall experience. I don't think I'd recommend or return.read moreread less
- Holly Pretious 02/09/2024My family and I did the Phoenix zipline and Tower Climber. Both were fantastic and we all had a great time. Unfortunately the cafe is terrible (waited an hour for food only for the wrong order to come out) and the toilets were not checked or restocked by staff during the day. The activities are 5 stars, but unfortunately the cafe and facilities are more like 1 star.read moreread less
- Guna Gerkena 01/09/2024My brother and I went to the Zip World Tower on Friday. Parking costs £3 all day, there isn't another option. I think it's cheap. And also good idea, because you don't need to spend your time guessing how long you will be there. Staff was very friendly and professional, made us feel very safe. There are two zip lines. The first one( the biggest one) is so high and far away that you can't even see it from the parking or from the site. We were taken to the top of the mountain via minibus. The view was breathtaking. That was the best experience ever, absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back. I definitely recommend it.read moreread less
- Malcolm Gaskell 31/08/2024Great place, few things though I think would make it better.. Needs to make more of the pit buildings and description of what they where and how they worked. A bistro seems out of place, would prefer a really good cafe, prices for food are on the high side 15£ for breakfast really.. Tenner for a sandwich... And paying for parking really??... Prices are enough to cover it, if your paying to use the facility should be included, Staff are great and very friendly.. Views are stunning from everywhere. Still no idea why the big zip wire is so expensive!! A family needs deep pockets to enjoy it all. Great fun, remember to take a picknick, read moreread lessDanny Wong 31/08/2024Family really enjoyed Pheonix and the Coaster experiences. All the staff were super friendly and made it fun for the kids. Everything was well organised and queue times were relatively short. Toilets did go out of order (after they run out of water) which meant long queues for a single toilet. Food offering was good. Wide selection, although only breakfast items were available when we visited. Ice creams were sooo nice. Would definitely recommend.read moreread less

- Steve Long 27/08/2024Time here was fantastic, staff professional, friendly, and helpful. Felt very safe and secure. Zip line experience was amazing and will live long in the memory. Sadly, the video was disappointing as the camera only filmed the head cushion, I presume it was there to stop you from hitting your head when you came to stop. So to get home, download the video expecting to relive the view, experience, it was sad to see 5 minutes of a grey cushion!read moreread lessJames Stace 27/08/2024As a family with 5 children & 3 dogs the staff were amazing and accommodating in all areas, loved the location with all the old equipment still in situ had a real feeling of what used to be… Flew the Phoenix myself and was a little under inflated as had too many parachutes attached to me and wanted it to be faster but realise they have to comply with H&S but my kids & wife loved it a lot! Overall definitely worth a visit and the manager needs to be very proud of having such a great team of workers!read moreread less
- Shreyans Khobare 27/08/2024We had pre-booked for the coaster. Its lap is hardly of a single minute (hence you are allowed 3 laps) and its track is placed in an open area. Its track doesn't go through the woods / forest like you see on their website so the views while on the coaster is not what you expect. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and thoroughly safety conscious. We went while it was raining and had to wait since we were informed that they won't allow guests unless they have performed all checks after the rain stops and they have complete confidence that is safe to ride. Special shout-out to Clive who is extremely friendly, helpful and recommended us to try the zipline (which we unfortunately couldn't try due to heavy rains and a long waiting line). 4 stars just because the coaster ride isn't what you see in their advertisements. 5 star for Staff 😄read moreread less
- Lelushia Jamieson 27/08/2024Love that you can switch with level you are at during the Tower experience. I was naively bold and went straight to the top. Did 1 obstacle and had to make my way back across because I was petrified! It is HIGH! I really enjoyed the lower levels however. And the zip lines were great! Loved the smaller one, closest to the ground, that you can bob up and down on. It was great fun. Oh and the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which is always a bonus! Well worth walking an hour in horrible rain, and up roads without pavements to visit (I would advise going by car or some other vehicular based transport!). Would happily go again and have recommended this place to my family. 💯read moreread lessPhil Heron 27/08/2024The zipline ride seems pricey but is exciting. Some of the staff were rather lacklustre in attitude - doing their job but not adding to the customer experience much. Overall well run and goos fun. My main criticism of the visit was being charged for parking! Good grief, the parking is soley for the rides for which we have already paid heaps for. To be excited for the adventure only to be hit on arrival with a mean spirited parking fee and full on threats of fines - a big downer. Worth having another look at your business model methinks.read moreread less
- Natalie Arnold 20/08/2024Overall the zip line was good fun and I'd recommend it. The coaster ride was good, definitely more for children. My partner and I went on it, it was good, like a roller-coaster but slower. We also did the zip line. That was good but a lot of waiting about. There are two zip lines you go down. First one you get taken to a top of a mountain via a minibus and then wait in a queue for a very long time. Think we waited nearly an hour for our turn. Once you've been down the first one, you need to climb a lot of stairs to get to the next zip line. Then queuing again for the next one for a while too. Apart from the long waiting times for our turn, it was good fun! Staff are very thorough when checking your safety gear is all on and working properly. This made us feel safe before going on the zip line. I'd recommend the zip line for all and the coaster ride for children.read moreread lessJasmine Jade 20/08/2024The car park only services zip world and after paying 200 quid for zip line tickets we then had to pay for parking too, I find this ridiculous and greedy, it should be a part of your ticket. We were also waiting for ages to get fitted with kit then again up the top to actually get on the zip line, we booked a 1.30 zip line and didn’t go down it until 2.40. The whole process took three hours in total. That being said. By which point I almost had to pay for more parking lol. The experience itself and the staff were amazing but I think the services need to improve for the price you pay.read moreread less
- Kira Morgan 20/08/2024We went for the coaster ride which was pretty cool. I felt like my daughter needed a bit more than a park to let off steam... my daughter is 6 and the tower climber was perfect (I was tempted to pop her on the zipwire, but I would have had to join in... and I'm not game for that) She absolutely loved the experience, testing her nerves and resilience, highly recommended, we will be back!read moreread less
- Ruth de Wijze 20/08/2024Came to visit with my friend from New Jersey. We ended up getting delayed on the drive and the staff were super accommodating with changing our booking time. We went on the Tower Flyer with Jack and Andy. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and to accommodate us! We were a little nervous but they knew what they were doing and made sure we were okay every step of the way. Friendly and great at their jobs! Give them a raise!!read moreread less
- Jane Crank 13/08/2024Have visited Zip World Tower many times as somewhere to meet family or friends for coffee and cake ; the views are spectacular and the coffee is fabulous. However, I was extremely disappointed this week to find that they’ve now jumped on the pay for parking bandwagon. Come on!! I realise the site is huge and costs a lot to run but to charge parking on top of the cost of the activities is a bit much! The app ( Ring Go) was not easy to install- the whole download and pay process took 15 mins of my life and then a £3 parking fee cost £3.20 - I still cannot work out where that extra 20p came from as I made sure I unticked all the SMS extra charge options!! Cafe service wasn’t great this week either. Orders for coffee were taken quickly , but sadly there was not one to pass them on to and we had to wait a considerable time for another staff member to actually arrive and make them. Time to find another venue, sadly.read moreread less
