Looked great from the advertisement but the tower coaster was rubbish and felt like a con as was over in seconds didnt really go through any woods or anywhere exciting I don't even think it went faster than 15 miles per hour. Food extortionate and over an hour and a half wait. Asked for 4 different drinks which where on the menu but they didnt have. Overpriced rubbish which is a shame would never come again. - Carl O'Brien 30/08/2026Fantastic day out with the cousin at the south wales zipworld at the tower colliery up on the Rhigos mountain here in the south wales valleys, would make a brilliant day out for anyone's family here, lots of various activities there, also a bistro, ice-creams section various scooped flavours which eere delicious, good selection of food there, nice clean toilet facilities and there's a shop to purchase alot of various memorabilia of your zipworld adventures of the day, also gifts to take back home for relatives and friends. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit. We found it unclean with sticky table tops and crumbs and pieces of food on the table. We chose three different tables and all the same. I would suggest you bring a picnic as there are available picnic tables.Male toilets could be cleaner, however a stainless steel trough urinal is unattractive at the best of times!The Tower Coaster is excellent value with three rides per ticket. Paying for the camera is recommended as the footage is highly amusing.The Zip Tower was used by our three children (11/12 and 8) and they found it a little scary at the higher levels.read moreread less

I visited with my three children, aged 7, 9 and 13, and it was their first time trying adventures like these.We started with the Tower Coaster and then took on the Phoenix. They were definitely nervous at first, especially about the Phoenix, but the staff were so friendly and reassuring that they felt safe and encouraged throughout.By the end, all those nerves had turned into excitement – they enjoyed it so much that they wanted to do it all over again!It was such a special family experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Wales. We left with huge smiles and wonderful memories, and we would absolutely love to come back for another adventure. ❤️read moreread less

You then take a 15 minute bus ride to the first of two zip wires! I was petrified but the adrenaline rush you get is incredible! Huge shout out to the staff, every single one of them were brilliant especially Katie, Kian, Oliver and Mark. There was another whose name I forgot plus the driver up to the top! - matt beer 17/08/2026I had a great time at this adventure venue! The check-in process was smooth and the rides, especially the Phoenix and Tower Coaster, were exhilarating. However, the food service left a lot to be desired; we waited ages for our order, and the menu options were a bit limited as could only order breakfast items but the service was so slow, 40 minutes waiting and it was quiet, lunch items came out same time as our breakfasts. The toilets could've used some extra attention too, as they were a mess by the time we left. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, just a few hiccups that need sorting out!read moreread less

I was really really scared to go on the Phoenix but I ended up doing it and I loved it so so much. - Rayana 14/08/2026i only went on the rollercoaster thing but the wait to get the wristbands took long. but it was nice and the ride was a bit short but you can go three rides so its fine. there is a little camera on the cart that records you and when it drives it records you and then in the end you get a receipt with a qr code to scan and see the video. it was nice and you can see the views of the mountains and plants3 stars⭐⭐⭐read moreread less

Kids are free over summer so we also had lunch and drinks. We were offered a second adventure for 50% off so the kids went on the coaster, we didn’t realise they would get 3 goes so it was good value for them. We did the Tower Flyer and our hosts Adam and Rob were outstanding!Very efficient in what they did but they did it in a relaxed way with loads of interaction and plenty of humour. We had 3 go each and my son was terrified at first but the lady doing the checks helped him get the courage to get back in the car and he enjoyed after the first run.Only downside is the queue. Even though you get a slot you theb get in a queue and all other go's you need to get out and join a queue again and the queue gets bigger as other people are coming for later slots.The queue to check in is also a pain! I know there are a lot of checks to be done but it took a good 30 mins just to check in.We were offered other activities with a massive discount at the check in however we were in a rush to get back on the road back to England and I am glad we didn't take any other activities as would mean more waiting in queues and we would come home late at night!read moreread less

The reception staff were fantastic, friendly, fast, efficient, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. The ride attendants were just as wonderful, making us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our visit. We needed to use the queue assist/acces pass card for our autistic son, and the team handled everything with such kindness, professionalism, and understanding. A special mention has to go to Dylan, who was simply outstanding. He was patient, empathetic, and made sure our son's needs were met while still being professional throughout. Seeing our son give Dylan a high five at the end was such a special moment for us, as he usually keeps to himself. It really meant the world to our family.Dylan is a real credit to Zip World and a fantastic asset to the business. Huge thanks as well to the reception team and the management for creating such a welcoming and inclusive experience. We can't praise everyone enough and will definitely be back! - David Kneil 30/07/2026What an experience! I went with my wife and two daughters. We were all able to go down the lines at the same time. The staff were very professional and thorough, which contributed to us all feeling safe. It's not the cheapest day out with the family but when you are sitting in your harness about to plunge into the abyss on the first zipline, which is nearly 1km long, with stunning views over Wales ( because it's so high)! it is so reassuring to know that numerous members of staff have checked over your equipment and have checked that it is all fitted and adjusted properly. Clair White 24/07/2026What a con!I booked over the phone using my Blue Light Card as an NHS worker because I was led to believe I was receiving a worthwhile discount. I even asked whether there were any additional discounts available, as we were booking every activity offered at this site.The total came to over £183 for two people. However, when we arrived, we discovered that had we simply booked at Zip World Towers on the day, we would have received 50% off the ticket prices. There was plenty of availability, so booking in advance offered no advantage whatsoever.This information is not made clear on the website. In fact, the website gives the impression that booking online in advance provides the best value, which simply wasn’t our experience.I feel misled and disappointed. As someone who deliberately booked in advance and tried to make use of the available discounts, I ended up paying significantly more than customers who booked on the day. Greater transparency about pricing and available discounts would have allowed us to make an informed decisionread moreread less
- Lauren 22/07/2026We had the absolute best time here , I was SO nervous to the point I was crying my heart out at the top but the girls up there was SOOO unbelievably lovely they were so calm, friendly and took the time to answer all my ridiculous questions and they let me take 15 minutes just sat in my harness to calm myself down before I got the courage to just do it and I’m so glad I did it was so amazing and the views are beautiful !! If you show up wearing the wristband, you get a bucket of popcorn. I was astonished to discover that this "wonderful" bucket was actually the size of a shot glass, and they wouldn't sell a larger portion for my child even if I wanted to buy one.I think I could count exactly five pieces of popcorn. Honestly, I felt humiliated—especially when I was told it was a "good gesture" on their part. I declined the offer.read moreread less

Queuing time for Phoenix was a little long so be prepared to be patient up the top if on a weekend / holidays. - Ken Newman 15/07/2026Located in a valley in the rolling hills of South Wales. We turned up just as they opened but with a flight as a walk in. It takes 2 hours to complete the adventure,that is get suited and booted, safety talk, mini bus ride to top launch stage. Flight over lake,lots of steps up next tower for final flight down to base. As for the crew they are polite and great fun helping you to relax. Had a very strong cross wind that buffered about, but added to the total experience. Well worth the experience. The night could have been cancelled due to poor numbers, but no. We were treated like VIPs, given the best table, and were regularly checked in on. The safety standards were exceptional, which gave us complete confidence throughout the adventure. The staff carefully checked all the equipment, harnesses, hooks, and safety gear multiple times and explained everything clearly before we started.The team was professional, friendly, and well-organized. They transported us to the top of the mountain, and the entire experience was smooth from start to finish.We tried both the longest zip line and the fastest zip line, and both were unforgettable! The views, the thrill, and the excellent service made it an experience to remember.
